Things To Do In Minneapolis

Minneapolis is the perfect blend of natural beauty and urban sophistication. Lying on both banks of the Mississippi River, as well as a close location to twenty lakes and wetland. With over 400,000 residents, Minneapolis is the largest city in Minnesota. The city is rich on water and used to be the flour milling capital of the world.  Today, the city is the primary business center between Chicago and Seattle. Together with the city of St. Paul, Minneapolis creates the Twin Cities.

Considered one of the world’s cleanest cities, Minneapolis offers a wide range of eco-friendly activities and venues to visit such as parks, boating tours, green restaurants, a well-developed public transportation system, and a bike share program. In addition, the city has excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, and historical and museums tours.

Minnesota has no sales tax on clothing, which means, you will find a varying selection of shops downtown, including the Mall of America, one of the largest indoor shopping malls in the country. The mall has over 500 stores and restaurants, plus an indoor theme park and an aquarium.
